i’m watching “my cat from hell.” it seems like most of the problems are because they don’t have any toys or playtime. who gets a cat and doesn’t dangle things in front of its face?! that’s crazy!
what's the stigma against rogers park?
sure, it’s “far,” but it’s a hub. we’ve got more than a few major buses and train lines. so many restaurants and markets, and cheap rent. we’re thinking about moving, and we probably will come august. i was thinking i might like to move a bit closer to downtown, but when i really started checking places and prices out, rogers park is the place to be. for sure.

95% sure we’re getting a puppy on monday. he’s a little guy. white, but with a few light brown spots on his ears. 1/4 pitbull, 1/4 beagle, 1/2 lab. mutt thru and thru. but what should we name him? it’s gotta be in the same vein as ian curtis-mackaye and henrietta rollins, haha.

read the comments to this yahoo article on a couple raising a gender-neutral child. a good majority call for the parents to be charged with child abuse. it amazes me how threatened people are by breaking stereotypes, allowing your child self-expression, and accepting them for who they are and who they turn out to be.
